FOR THE PEOPLE

At Harmony Farm Sanctuary we strive to create a safe haven for our rescued farm animals, individuals and groups to interact and connect. We work in conjunction with various organizations to expand an individual's ability socially and emotionally. This connection benefits both the animals and the people that come here. It has been shown that people interacting with animals have decreased levels of cortisol (stress related hormone) and lower blood pressure. Animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support and boost your mood! People in turn play a vital role in the rehabilitation of our rescued animals. Both are left with feelings of joy and happiness.

We currently work with the following organizations: Heart of Oregon Youth-Build, Juvenile Justice, Sisters Life Skills and Transition Program, Central Oregon Partnership for Youth (COPY), Circle of Friends and Cascades Academy.
